- based on full traceability
Full traceability is a prerequisite for our food safety throughout the entire production cycle. The possibility of 100% traceability throughout the production from egg to finished product gives our customers and final consumers worldwide a guarantee that our products are food-safe and fully controlled. Full traceability also allows AquaPri to offer high and consistent quality throughout the entire production chain:
External security and control
In addition to our own internal traceability, we ensure food safety through the HACCP principle, which evaluates all key processes in our breeding and production facilities.
In addition, the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration (DVFA) regularly conducts inspection visits to all Danish food companies, which ensures consumers a high level of food safety in Denmark.

There are many health benefits from eating fish. Eating fish can supply us with energy, protein and a number of important nutrients, including omega-3 fatty acids.
Fish contain healthy fish oils like omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins such as vitamin D, iodine and selenium. By eating the recommended amount of fish, you reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. Lack of vitamin D can cause bone swelling that increases the risk of fractures in the elderly. Iodine deficiency can cause enlarged thyroid gland and thus the risk of metabolic disturbances. One can reduce the risk of cancer and cardiovascular disease by eating selenium-containing foods.
Adults are advised to eat 350 grams of fish per week, of which approx. 200 grams of fatty fish such as salmon, trout, mackerel and herring.
