SustainabilityCompanies and consumers worldwide are preoccupied with providing and demanding products and services based on sustainable standards.
Providing farmed products on sustainable terms is also a prime driver for AquaPri.
The real challenge is to define the term "sustainability" broadly enough to cover all aspects.
We are still on the road to defining our way of running our business under sustainable standards.
Our primary focus is on the following aspects:
- Farming to return what we borrow from nature the best way possible.
- Initialising projects to reduce our use of CO2 in all parts of the business
- Providing optimal animal welfare
- Improving and securing working conditions for our employees
We are working on these aspects continuously and hope that you will follow us on our road. |

Food safetyThere are many ways of acting in a sustainable manner. We are continuously defining OUR road to acting in a sustainable way.
One way of acting sustainably is to maintain and always expand the level of food safety. We do this through a severe traceability programme, following the fish through the whole supply chain from egg to the final product.
Trout: We only use our own brood stock, giving us the opportunity to follow our trout and the caviar from our trout and all the way to its selling point. Pike perch: We already have the first generations of our own stock at AquaPri Innovation, making it possible to trace the product back to the parents from our own brood stock. |
