NewsContactOrganic Baltic Salmon
- Since 2009 and partly funded by LAG, a local EU-Fund, AquaPri has been involved in farming of Organic Baltic Salmon on our sea farm close to Slagelse.
- Due to the the extreme temperatures in the winter of 2010, all the salmon died, and we have had to start up a new generation of organically farmed Baltic salmon, due to be harvested in the autumn of 2011 at the size of 2-4 kg.
- There is great potential in presenting farmed Baltic salmon, as this way we will avoid the problems of the large wild Baltic salmon with too high levels of dioxins. Farmed salmon does not contain any dioxin.
The salmon will be presented (though small) on various occasions in the autumn of 2010.
