We are involved in most types of "aquaculture" or fish farming in Denmark from the most advanced 100% recirkulated systems to the more traditional types with the water flowing through and in a way borrowed by the fish farm in between. Today, all types of farms require a severe cleaning of the water before we let it back into the stream.
Above is Niels Daniel, manager of one of our trout farms Vellingskov. This is a traditional type of farm, despite its concrete construction. At Vellingskov, we have a license to produce app. 150 tons of trout.
